DEPARTMENT OF HOSPITAL DENTISTRY

 

The Department of Hospital Dentistry –Center for Oral Health was established on November 13, 2013 with the aim to meet the needs of special patient populations who face barriers in accessing oral health care, including medically compromised individuals as well as mentally or physically disabled individuals. 

As part of its multifaceted public mission, the Center for Oral Health strives for excellence in the delivery of oral care, education, and community service. 

We have set our goals to:

  • Develop excellence in health care with emphasis placed on the creation and implementation of up-to-date knowledge and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Educate tomorrow’s dental professionals and develop programs that would prepare them for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and contribution.
  • Lead and advocate for programs that would improve oral health for all.

The center is comprised of a full complement of staff that empowers the department to deliver quality comprehensive oral care. 


The Center for Oral Health has an ultra-modern design with seven operatories equipped with state-of-the-art dental chairs and units. Each operatory was designed for ergonomics and to meet design standards to serve patients with disabilities.
